GoCareerGo (“we”, “us”) operates gocareergo.com — a career and exam preparation workspace with CV builder, Prep Hub (NEET, IIT-JEE, IT stacks), Studio PDF/image tools, utilities, and related services.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use GoCareerGo, we may process:

• Account data — name, email address, sign-in method (for example Google sign-in), and password credentials where you set one.
• Profile & CV data — details you save in Profile or CV Builder (education, skills, experience, contact fields you enter).
• Learning activity — practice progress, preferences, and similar workspace state needed to restore your sessions.
• Messages you send us — Contact and Feedback submissions, including any content you choose to include.
• Technical data — IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic logs needed to keep the site secure and reliable.
• Cookies & similar tech — described in Cookies, ads & analytics.

You can browse many Prep Hub and Studio pages without creating an account. Account features (saving CV, dashboard, synced progress) require sign-in.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to:

• Provide, secure, and improve GoCareerGo services
• Authenticate you and keep your workspace personal
• Save and show your CV, profile, and practice state
• Respond to support, contact, and feedback messages
• Understand product usage (in aggregate) and fix bugs
• Show relevant ads where advertising is enabled
• Detect abuse, spam, and security threats
• Comply with law when we are legally required to

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent email lists. We do not use your CV content to train public AI models.

4. Studio & browser tools

Many GoCareerGo Studio tools (PDF merge/convert, image crop/resize, QR tools, and similar) are designed to process files in your browser. Those files are not uploaded to GoCareerGo servers for the core conversion workflow.

Download or login gates may still use your account session so we know you are signed in — that is account metadata, not your PDF/image contents. If a future tool needs server processing, we will say so clearly in the tool UI before you proceed.

5. Cookies, ads & analytics

We and our partners may use cookies or local storage to:

• Keep you signed in and remember preferences
• Measure traffic and feature usage (for example Google Analytics)
• Deliver and measure advertising (for example Google AdSense) on eligible pages

Advertising partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can control cookies in your browser settings, use Google’s ad settings where available, or install industry opt-out tools. Blocking some cookies may limit sign-in or personalization.

6. Sharing & processors

We share data only when needed to run the product, for example:

• Infrastructure & hosting providers that store application data under our instructions
• Authentication providers (for example Google) when you choose social sign-in
• Analytics & advertising partners listed above
• Legal requests — if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect users and the service

We do not share your profile or CV with recruiters or third parties for marketing without your direction.

7. Retention & security

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, disputes, security, or legal obligations. Contact/feedback messages may be retained to improve support quality.

We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, and server hardening). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — please use a strong unique password and keep your login private.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information (you can edit Profile / CV anytime)
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based

To request access or deletion, contact us via Contact from the email on your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

GoCareerGo is aimed at students and job seekers who can form a contract under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our product or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of GoCareerGo after an update means you accept the revised policy, unless applicable law requires a different process.
