The Wumpus world

Wumpus world is a grid cave. Pits, a wumpus, gold. Breeze near pits, stench near wumpus. The agent gets percepts, not a full map. It must infer safe squares. Perfect for KR + logic questions.

Don’t recast the whole game. Say percepts, hazards, gold goal, partial observability. Then one inference: breeze in (1,1) empty? then pit maybe in (1,2) or (2,1).

Output — idea / do / check for The Wumpus world. Fill those three in the viva.

Exam tip

One percept → one safe/unsafe guess.

Example

# The Wumpus world
print("idea :", "The Wumpus world")
print("do : one tiny example on paper")
print("check: one failure case")

Output: idea / do / check for The Wumpus world. Fill those three in the viva.

Short notes

  • DefGrid + pits + wumpus + gold.
  • RuleBreeze / stench percepts.
  • RememberPartial observability.
